In Loving Memory of Nicholas “Nicky Free” Freeman

December 17, 1986 – July 29, 2024

Nicholas “Nicky Free” Freeman was a gifted and multifaceted creative whose energy, talent, and compassion touched everyone he met. The beloved son of Rodney Freeman and Janet Magruder, Nick was known for his innovation, magnetic spirit, and zest for life.

A true visionary, Nick left his mark from Baltimore, MD, to Brooklyn, NY, and Los Angeles, CA, inspiring others through his artistry and authenticity. His creative pursuits were boundless ; acting, modeling, writing, producing, DJing, and rapping, each reflecting his deep love for storytelling and self-expression. Beyond his artistic achievements, Nick earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and founded BaBa Natural, a holistic healing company dedicated to wellness and restoration.

Nick passed away from coronary artery disease while hiking with friends on Buzzard’s Trail at Patapsco Valley State Park, doing what he loved most... being outdoors and surrounded by people he cared about.

He was, and always will be, an earth angel; a radiant soul whose creativity, kindness, and spirit continue to inspire. Nick was truly one of a kind and will be forever loved and deeply missed.
